Genshin Impact Fatui Harbingers: Detailed Overview of the 11 Members
As Genshin's narrative unfolds, the once-enigmatic Fatui Harbingers gradually take the stage. Among them are familiar playable characters and lore-obscured figures. Let us now delve into all currently revealed Harbingers' profiles.
Fatui Director "The Jester" Pierro Introduction

Pierro, a Khaenri'ahn. In Khaenri'ah, he served as a court mage. Due to inferior erudition compared to Sage Hroptatyr, he failed to gain royal favor and to halt the Five Archons of Sin from wielding the Abyss, leading to Khaenri'ah's consumption by darkness. He then pledged loyalty to the Tsaritsa, becoming the first Fatui Harbinger.
He recruited "The Crimson Witch of Flames," La Signora, and Sumeru Academia's "Heretic," Dottore, among others.
1st of the Fatui Harbingers, "The Captain" Il Capitano Introduction

Five centuries ago, the catastrophe-"Capitano" witnessed the Abyss-induced terror firsthand.
"Capitano" lost kin, homeland, comrades, and kinfolk to the Abyss. Failing to save Khaenri'ah, he retreated to Natlan with remnants of his squad as Abyssal horrors raged. There he found identical devastation. After prolonged battles, he met Ayizu, leader of the "Masters of the Night-Wind". Though others blamed Khaenri'ahns for the calamity, Ayizu aided "Capitano"extensively.
"As a soldier, once committed to war, victory must be pursued relentlessly"-thus "Capitano" vowed to assist Natlan.
Alongside Natlan's warriors, he overcame countless trials.
His heart, modified via Khaenri'ahn technology, transmutes Ley Line memories and souls into knowledge.
The side effect rendered him soul-sensitive like Ororon, acutely perceiving nearby spirits...
When displaced souls overwhelmed Natlan during the disaster, he repurposed the heart as a vessel to harbor them, abandoning its cognitive functions.
Later joining the Fatui as the 1st Harbinger.
In Natlan's arc, he allied with the Pyro Archon to defend the nation.
Ultimately bargaining with Noctis-sacrificing himself to return comrades' souls to Ley Lines, lifting the undying curse for their repose.
Wanderer: Don't you think that possessing absolute righteousness is actually a latent danger? And that's without taking his great personal strength into account.
Tartaglia: I've seen him in battle before, and oh what a sight it was. Perhaps I'm ranked too low for him to notice me right now. Well, he may not recognize my strengths yet, but one day, I'll show him what I'm made of.
2nd of the Fatui Harbingers, "The Doctor" Il Dottore Introduction

If Capitano is the paragon of order, then Dottore embodies absolute malice.
Technology consumes his mind-humans are mere instruments.
Born Zandik, a former Sumeru scholar. While researching Ruin Golems in the desert, he murdered colleagues who impeded his work. At Dar al-Shifa, his human modification experiments led to Sumeru Akademiya's excommunication. Recruited by The Jester into the Fatui, he created age-varied segments of himself. The Wanderer joined the Fatui owing to Dottore's machinations.
He proposed "borrowing" children from the House of the Hearth for experiments-had the Knave not respected their shared Harbinger status, she would have slain him.
3rd of the Fatui Harbingers, "Damselette" Columbina Introduction

Female, high-ranking, inscrutable. Exudes grace yet often appears lethargic. Childe finds her 3rd Seat perplexing and warns the Traveler to stay wary.
Many theorize Columbina is a Seelie, though conclusive proof remains absent. Flimsy evidence includes her crown mirroring Seelie pedestals and the artifact set "Maiden's Passing"-mere coincidences.
"Damselette" denotes designation, not species. The title could apply to any young female. Her headpiece's similarity to Seelie relics may be superficial.
4th of the Fatui Harbingers, "The Knave" Arlecchino Introduction

Context first: House of the Hearth-an orphanage grooming global foundlings into Fatui agents.
Its director is the current 4th Fatui Harbinger, "The Knave" Arlecchino.
Young Arlecchino was raised in The Hearth, bonding with peers. Then the former "Mother" Knave forced mutual slaughter to crown a ruler. Arlecchino indirectly caused her friend's death. She slew the "Mother" in vengeance. Though deserving execution, the Tsaritsa pardoned this matricide. The delusion marking her hands symbolizes imperial favor. Becoming the new Knave and Hearth's director, she demanded the title "Father," rejecting "Mother."
Arlecchino's power stems from multiple sources.
Primordial Eclipsed Bloodfire courses through her veins-noble lineage, both curse and gift.
The Tsaritsa-bestowed Delusion, during this period, she wielded a Vision under the name "Peruere."
5th of the Fatui Harbingers, "The Rooster" Pulcinella Introduction

The Rooster governs Snezhnayan law and diplomacy.
Documented in Childe's Story. Mentioned in Teyvat Storyline Trailer. Male with elongated ears and nose-neither elf nor fully human. Extensively supports Childe's family, having recruited him into the Fatui by recognizing his talents. Yet he abandoned his own Fatui squad beneath The Chasm.
The Knave views this Harbinger and Regrator with disdain.
"The Rooster" Pulcinella likely conceals ruthless capabilities.
6th of the Fatui Harbingers, "The Balladeer" Scaramouche Introduction

Scaramouche is the first puppet forged by the Electro Archon. A mysterious youth clad in Inazuman garb with a wide-brimmed hat.
Designed as a vessel for the Gnosis, his tearful slumber deemed him too frail. Beelzebul sealed his powers and entombed him in the Pavilion of Hermits. He later awoke and wandered.
Newly awakened, his psyche was a blank slate.
Rejected by Ei for failing her standards, he perceived this as betrayal.
Power-sealed yet self-aware, he wandered Inazuma. At Tatarasuna, smiths took him in. When the furnace crisis struck, he sought aid at Tenshukaku. Failing to convey urgency, he attempted solo containment. Dottore deceived him, claiming the smiths sacrificed him to seal the core.
Thus he deemed the Smiths traitors.
He befriended a frail child, seeing kinship. The child succumbed to Tatarigami's corruption.
Misunderstanding humanity, he counted this as the third betrayal.
In essence: a newborn blank slate, unguided. His "three" betrayals"-maternal abandonment, deceit, and ignorance.
Recruited by the Fatui. Their modifications unlocked his sealed power, amplifying it.
Steeped in Fatui's darkness, he schemed against Raiden Gokaden, causing smithing arts' decline.
After obtaining the Gnosis from Yae Miko, he joined Dottore in Sumeru's deification project. With Akademiya's aid, he became "Shouki no Kami, the Prodigal"-later defeated by the Traveler.
At Irminsul, while aiding the Traveler's search, he uncovered his betrayal's truth. Attempting self-erasure to atone, he only erased others' memories of him. The Traveler found him working at a food stall, amnesiac. Brought to the Sanctuary of Surasthana, Nahida revealed his past. He reclaimed memories through introspection, chose a new name, and now seeks redemption with her guidance.
7th of the Fatui Harbingers, "Marionette" Sandrone Introduction

"Marionette" Sandrone appears as a petite woman wearing a bonnet, seated atop a massive automaton. Given her designation, speculation arises: the girl may be the crafted puppet, while the automaton houses her true form-potentially linked to Fontaine's Clockwork Duke Alain, with visual parallels to his sister Mary-Ann.
Her yandere traits manifest in Fontaine's questline: subordinate Reneck damaged a Curlicore automaton, triggering her torturous retaliation that drove him to madness.
"A master of puppetry and mechanics, she engineered Fatui constructs like Ruin Guards and Kathryne."
8th of the Fatui Harbingers, "The Fair Lady" La Signora Introduction

"The Fair Lady" La Signora-a mature and alluring Fatui Harbinger wielding the Tsaritsa's "Cryo Authority."
Her true identity: the "Crimson Witch of Flames" from Mondstadt centuries past. A song-loving maiden who loved Rostam. While she studied in Sumeru, Rostam fell battling Durin. Returning, she became the Witch, purging Abyssal creatures with lifeflame.
As her lifeflame waned, The Jester recruited her. Forsaking her name and past, she embraced the Tsaritsa's will. Defeated by the Traveler in Tenshukaku's Duel Before the Throne, she was struck down by the Raiden Shogun's "Musou no Hitotachi."
9th of the Fatui Harbingers, "Regrator" Pantalone Introduction

Mentioned in Yelan's Story Quest. "Regrator" Pantalone's traits: male; ambitious; controls economic sovereignty. Once impoverished and Visionless. Resents monetary authority resting with gods, vowing to dominate Teyvat's economy. Often details grand schemes to Childe, who comprehends little beyond securing funding. Adult male model; intellectually sharp with calculative precision; monitors market trends.
10th of the Fatui Harbingers, "????" ??? Introduction
Pierro holds the Chief Seat, Capitano the 1st Seat, Childe the 11th and last Seat. Theoretically, a 10th Seat exists-yet no intelligence confirms this.
11th of the Fatui Harbingers, "Childe" Tartaglia Introduction

"Childe" Tartaglia-the youngest and most perilous Fatui Harbinger. Born Ajax, he fled home at fourteen, stumbled into the Abyss, and trained three months under the enigmatic swordsman Skirk. Returning combat-obsessed, he was recruited by 5th Harbinger "The Rooster". During Liyue's arc, he feigned camaraderie with the Traveler while pursuing covert goals. At the Golden House, he clashed with the Traveler for Rex Lapis' Gnosis, later intercepted by "The Fair Lady".
Vacationing in Fontaine, he was framed for crimes predating his birth (the first incident occurred when he was likely under three).
Though exonerated, he was detained in Fortress of Meropide. After battling Monoceros Caeli to exhaustion, Skirk rescued him.
Wields a Vision, Delusion, and Abyss-forged "Foul Legacy".
He is Young and ambitious, he seeks to duel all Harbingers.
