The House of the Hearth is a mysterious organization located in Snezhnaya, with a history that dates back to the early years of the Fatui. Its origins can be traced to a certain " The Knave " during the Fatui’s reign, who established the House of the Hearth with the goal of adopting and training orphans to become Fatui agents and warriors. The orphans raised in the House of the Hearth grew up in orphanages, where they were given the identity of "Tsaritsa's children," yet they often knew little about their true origins, only that they came from somewhere in Teyvat.

The House of the Hearth shares a close relationship with Snezhnaya. On one hand, the nation provides necessary resources and support, allowing the organization to continue operating and expanding. On the other hand, the House of the Hearth supports Snezhnaya’s political and military goals by training agents, gathering intelligence, and carrying out special missions. This mutually beneficial relationship has secured the House of the Hearth an irreplaceable position within Snezhnaya.

Members of the House of the Hearth

The members of the House of the Hearth are diverse and complex, comprising orphans, instructors, agents, and other staff. The orphans are given a uniform surname: "Snezhevich " (for males) or "Snezhevna" (for females). These surnames are derived from the Russian word for "snow," symbolizing their identity as children of Snezhnaya.

Among the members of the House of the Hearth, there are several individuals who stand out. For instance, Arlecchino, the current "Knave," plays the role of the "father" within the House, guiding the children towards their future. Lyney, the great magician from Fontaine, is not only skilled in magic performances but also possesses sharp observation and analytical abilities, making him a strong candidate for the future Knave. His sister, Lynette, acts as his magic assistant and is always by his side, helping to create breathtaking magical acts. Lastly, Freminet, Lyney’s younger brother, may be young, but he has already displayed exceptional diving skills, and is a figure full of stories.
