1. What Are Visions in Genshin Impact?

In Genshin Impact, Visions are gifts bestowed by the gods upon certain residents of Teyvat. They manifest as items, enabling those who wield them to harness the power of a specific element.

Every bearer of a "Vision" is deemed worthy of godhood; hence, they are referred to as "Allogenes," possessing the qualification to ascend to Celestia-a secret known only to true deities. However, should the gods deem a bearer no longer worthy of their Vision, they may revoke it. Those who lose their Visions might face a fate worse than those who never possessed one, a circumstance players witness during the main storyline in Inazuma.

2. How to obtain a Vision?

The emergence of a Vision does not follow a fixed pattern, although most bearers harbor intense desires and lofty ambitions. Take Bennett, for instance, who, despite countless misfortunes, maintains an optimistic outlook and a strong will-qualities that likely led to him acquiring a Vision after a brush with death. Similarly, Qiqi, when confronted with peril, felt a powerful urge to halt time to evade demise, and in that moment, a Vision manifested for her.

Of course, there are also those who don't particularly care about Visions, such as Ningguang. She initially intended to sell an empty shell, but after devising a comprehensive auction plan, the shell was activated and became her Vision, which infuriated her.
