The world knows the Fatui Harbingers as the scheming blades roaming the continent, followers of the Tsaritsa and subverters of the old order. They bear heavy responsibilities, each with their own schemes, navigating the storms and conspiracies of Teyvat. Yet, when they shed the shackles of duty and remove their cold masks, the Harbingers too possess their own unique moments of relaxation and tenderness. A leisurely and comfortable afternoon tea time is precisely one of their rare ways to unwind.

Fatui Harbingers Tea Party

The initiator of the tea party is none other than the Seventh of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers— "Marionette" Sandrone.

Sandrone was originally an automaton created by Fontaine's Alain Guillotin, modeled after his deceased sister, Mary-Ann. After Alain's death, she left Fontaine and eventually joined the Fatui, securing the Seventh Seat with her exceptional mastery of mechanical engineering. She immerses herself in research all day, rarely appearing in public. Yet, she does enjoy hosting tea parties—perhaps because the long years are too silent, or perhaps, this is her only remaining way to interact with people rather than mechanical puppets.

The guests at her tea parties are always few, but they are those she acknowledges: "Damselette" Colombina, "Knave" Arlecchino, and "Fairlady" Signora. Occasionally, "The Captain" would also bring the then-young "Childe" Tartaglia along, adding some untimely noise to an otherwise overly quiet afternoon.

On the eve of the tea party, Sandrone always carefully prepares various teas and pastries, quietly awaiting the arrival of her guests. From her "Marionette" notebook, we learn that besides her fondness for various teas, Sandrone is most obsessed with exquisite tea sets. Perhaps because Signora gifted her a new tea set, Sandrone, for once, refrained from complaining about how loud her new high heels were. In Sandrone's official character artwork, she also holds a teacup gracefully.

Lady Signora

Signora always arrives punctually, dressed in an extravagant gown with a large skirt and clicking high heels. Although outwardly a frenzied flame Witch, her heart is gentle and considerate. She would mail-order tea sets and wine from Mondstadt for Sandrone, often bringing gifts. She would teach Colombina some social etiquette and also bring presents for the children of the House of the Hearth. Everyone likes her very much.

Arlecchino

Arlecchino is one of the very few people Sandrone has openly praised for having good taste. Both hail from Fontaine and share a preference for leisurely afternoon tea. Sandrone's notes record: "Twenty minutes in a meeting with Arlecchino, one hour having tea with Arlecchino. " It seems that compared to official matters, they have endless common topics to discuss at the tea table.

Colombina

Having lived for centuries yet only having tasted simple, traditional-style tea, Sandrone always prepares different tea varieties for her, even teasing her for liking only such ordinary tea. Additionally, because Colombina often goes to sing outside Sandrone's door late at night, Sandrone occasionally serves her a cup of leftover tea. This dynamic between them is quite endearing.

Capitano and Tartaglia

Capitano has always held high prestige among the Harbingers, being upright and honourable, which naturally places him on Sandrone's invitation list. He once brought Tartaglia to a tea party, hoping he would get to know his colleagues better. Tartaglia has always felt that Sandrone's gaze toward him is cold. This is because, back when he was playing with his brother Teucer, he broke many Mighty Cyclops—all of which were Sandrone's painstaking creations. However, Sandrone never held it much against him. In her eyes, Tartaglia has always been a simple youth.

Outside the window, the wind and snow of Snezhnaya still howl, while inside the tea room, everyone sets aside their burdens for a moment, savoring this brief period of leisure.
