As Travelers arrive in Snezhnaya, we have unlocked a brand new open-world system, which includes many new interactive mechanics. You can use the readily available ice blocks to build various special mechanisms, such as heat sources to prevent freezing to death, bouncing devices to overcome obstacles, grappling hooks, zip-line cables, Storage Device to help other Travelers, sign devices to alert other Travelers, and more. Building Grappling Hooks

Snezhnaya has snow country trains, but they cannot reach everywhere. There are still many wilderness snowfields. In these areas, Travelers can build "Grappling Hooks Mechanisms" to construct zip lines, speeding up your exploration and traversal experience.

Moreover, these mechanisms will appear in other Travelers' worlds, helping more Travelers who are exploring the map for the first time. The more likes they receive, the more Travelers they have helped, forming a positive cycle. No need to worry about grappling hooks covering every corner—there are refresh limits and corresponding rules in place.

Mutual Aid Network Storage Device

Travelers can also build a mechanism called the "storage device" in the open world. Travelers can place certain items inside it, such as regional specialties, Crystalflies, food, ores, and more.

This device will also appear in other Travelers' worlds, and everyone can take the items they need from it. Of course, you can also place surplus materials inside to help other Travelers. It functions as a kind of item sharing system, but it is not an equal exchange—it allows you to pass along goodwill to other unfamiliar Travelers.

Sign

There are also various sign functions. You can set icons or specific combinations of text to remind Travelers in other worlds about how to solve a puzzle here, or that a chest exists, and so on.

To avoid inappropriate or illegal content, these items do not allow players to customize the content freely. Only specific preset combinations can be used—similar to the Xiao Lanterns from the Lantern Rite Festival.
