Genshin Impact Sumeru OST Gift Box Appreciation

After waiting for a long time, the Genshin Impact Sumeru OST gift box has finally been officially released! It includes both the rainforest and desert soundtrack albums, accompanied by multiple carefully designed merchandise. Every detail is filled with the sentiment of Sumeru. Let's take a look at what surprises this gift box holds.

Sumeru OST Gift Box

This Sumeru OST gift box fully collects the OSTs from both the forest and desert storylines. It contains two CD sets: "Forest of Jnana and Vidya" and "The Unfathomable Sand Dunes," totaling seven discs, perfectly meeting the needs of hardcore music collectors for a complete track library. If you only wish to collect the CDs separately, you can also purchase the Sumeru OST CD set directly.

In addition to the CDs, the gift box includes a large number of collectible merchandise: an Aranyaka music box that immersively recreates the adventure experience of the Aranyaka; a desert scene paper carving Lamp full of atmosphere; and exquisite Nahida badge, standee, and collectible card. These merchandise items cover categories such as collection display, desktop decoration, portable accessories, and audio media, together forming a complete immersive collection set.

In terms of packaging design, the CD storage case uses three-dimensional gold stamping and cut-out window techniques, with thoughtful details. The gift box adopts a double-opening structure that neatly stores all items, providing a strong sense of ceremony when opened.

Sumeru OST Gift Box Feature 1: Aranyaka Music Box

Do you still remember this little Aranara tune? The "Melody of Brave Seeds" from the Aranyaka. Many Travelers must have a deep impression of this melody. This time, the Sumeru OST gift box actually turned this melody into a physical music box. Among Genshin Impact CD gift box merchandise, this is one of the few designs that truly fits the music theme. The Aranyaka music box can be considered the soul item of the entire gift box. It contains the classic fragment of "Melody of Brave Seeds," echoing the main storyline of the Aranyaka, transforming the OST audio from the game into a physical collectible. The music box is small and compact, full of fun to play with, and its sentimental value is maxed out.

Sumeru OST Gift Box Feature 2: Paper Carving Lamp

The Sumeru desert scene paper carving Lamp is an atmospheric desktop ornament and the visual centerpiece of the entire set. It recreates the desert Mausoleum architectural complex, supports multiple color temperature switching and brightness adjustment, and can also serve as a night light. The atmospheric effect is maxed out. Paired with a TYPE-C charging port, it is very convenient for daily use.

Sumeru OST Gift Box Feature 3: Nahida Merchandise

Centered on Nahida as the core character, the chain badge is suitable for hanging on bags as decoration. The magnetic standee uses a layered magnetic structure paired with Aranara scene artwork, making it very photogenic when placed on a desk. The collector card is a paper collectible accessory using holographic silver foil stamping, and can be stored in a card album.

Recommended Tracks from the Sumeru OST

After introducing the merchandise, let me recommend a few of my personal favorite tracks from the Sumeru OST.

1. Whirling of Leaves and Petals

This track is the main theme of Sumeru City. When you first walk to the gates of Sumeru City and enter the story sequence, this is the background music playing. Its rich exotic flair leaves a deep impression!

2. Hustle and Bustle of Ormos

The BGM of Port Ormos features a highly danceable looping rhythm with the saz leading the melody. It creates a vibrant, exotic market atmosphere.

3. Gilded Runner

A battle track known as "Sumeru's most rhythmically complex BGM." It employs Fibonacci sequence rhythmic layering, with multiple rhythms intertwining, resulting in extreme complexity. Tense and eerie, it maximizes the sense of pressure when facing Ruin Guards or elite Eremites.

4. Dance With Fireflies

The background music of Mawtiyima Forest. It is full of mystery with a hint of eeriness, as if luring you into this azure forest to explore its secrets.

5. Whitewood Memorabilia

This track is the BGM of Ardravi Valley. Played by a flute, it has no prelude—jumping straight into a plaintive, storytelling atmosphere. The accompaniment is relatively soft, allowing the main melody to stand out like a monologue.

6. A Pearl Amongst Legends

A representative track of the desert. The oud leads, interspersed with sighing long notes from the ney flute, evoking vastness and solitude. It plays as you traverse the endless yellow sands, as if witnessing countless ancient legends buried in the wind and dust.

Drifting sands and drizzling rain shroud the ancient nation; amidst the leaping notes, the light of wisdom emerges. Come and experience the deserts and rainforests of Sumeru.
