Genshin Impact 2026 April Fools' Special: Teyvat Troll Showcase
Another annual April Fools' Day has arrived, and on this lighthearted and humorous occasion, the official Genshin Impact team is coming to us with their "off-the-wall" merchandise and Easter eggs. Today, let's take a look at what fun surprises and playful antics the world of Teyvat has in store for us this year!
Yae Miko Electric Mosquito Swatter
First and foremost, the new piece of merchandise that has sparked much discussion is naturally the Yae Miko Electric Mosquito Swatter. As early as 2024, Genshin Impact released teasers for 3C digital products featuring characters such as Ganyu, the Raiden Shogun, and Yae Miko. Now, the Ganyu Phone Cooler and Raiden Shogun Power Bank have been released one after another, leaving only Yae Miko’s merchandise yet to be unveiled.

From the perspective of character design, Ganyu is Cryo character, which naturally aligns with the function of a phone cooler. The Raiden Shogun is Electro, and the concept of "charging" for a power bank also resonates with her "Musou Isshin" skill. As for the grand finale, Yae Miko... her product turns out to be an electric mosquito swatter.

Upon release, the product sparked a wave of playful banter among players. Many fans photoshopped images of Yae Miko holding the mosquito swatter, pairing them with her classic voice line, "A sight to behold." Others suggested the swatter could feature voice functionality, playing her line "Nothing lasts forever" with each swing. It has to be said: the mental image is quite vivid. Additionally, some highly creative netizens submitted ideas to the official team for a "Flins Mosquito Lamp" as merchandise—bizarre, yet somehow fitting.
Genshin Meow

This April Fools' Day, the official team released a set of super adorable Teyvat cat illustrations. These cats are all based on NPCs that have previously appeared in Genshin Impact, with each one hailing from a different nation. Every character has a unique identity and distinctive traits. Travelers, how many of them can you recognize?

- Mondstadt — Timaeus (NPC near the alchemy table)
- Liyue — Ying'er (Main Story, shop assistant for the "Scent of Spring")
- Inazuma — Kid Kujirai (Temari challenge)
- Sumeru, fled to Nod-Krai — Hidimbi (Wanted Quest at The Flagship tavern in Nod-Krai)
- Sumeru — Isak (Appears in the latter part of the Sumeru Archon Quest, later disguised as Lesser Lord Kusanali)
- Fontaine — Salsa (Appears in the "Good Stuff, but Terrible Taste" quest, guiding the Traveler in beautifying the environment; a girl who likes to draw)
- Natlan — Nusta (Appears in the Version 5.1 Archon Quest finale where she takes a photo with the Traveler, the Version 5.6 event "Whirling Waltz"; and during the Luna II Natlan People of the Springs minor event "Dance Dance Dynamic Disco")
Genshin Impact Fatui Special

Since it's April Fools' Day, how could we miss the "blessings" from the Fatui? The chibi versions of the Pyroslinger Bracer and Hydrogunner Legionnaire have made a shining appearance. The usually troublesome advance forces have become surprisingly cute in their chibi forms. Beyond that, many players have dug up details from these images. The Pyroslinger Bracer is making a "4" hand gesture, while the Hydrogunner Legionnaire is showing "2" and "4."
As is well known, Snezhnaya is inspired by Russia, and April 24th happens to be this year's Orthodox Easter (Пасха). This detail instantly energized the lore enthusiasts: Could this mean the Snezhnaya arc preview PV is finally coming? Or is it hinting at the "resurrection" of Sandrone, the "Marionette"? As for the truth, let's wait and see!
